AMSA Selects Noreen Rich as Director of Membership

Sterling, VA – The American Medical Student Association (AMSA), the oldest and largest independent organization of physicians-in-training in the United States, welcomes Noreen Rich, CAE, as its new Director of Membership.

Rich brings extensive experience in association management, with expertise in membership development, marketing, communications, volunteer management, and strategic growth initiatives. She previously served as Senior Marketing Manager at the Irrigation Association (IA) and held the position of Foundation Director for the Irrigation Foundation.

“Noreen has a broad range of experience in association management and has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership,” said AMSA Executive Director Joshua Caulfield, IOM. “She has a proven track record of implementing programs and processes that strengthen member recruitment, engagement, and retention. I am thrilled to welcome her to the AMSA team and confident that our members will benefit from her leadership.”

Rich is an active member of the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE), a graduate of the ASAE Leadership Academy, and an ASAE NextGen Association Summit alumna. She is also a member of the American Marketing Association. Rich holds an M.B.A. from the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater and a Bachelor of Arts in English from New Mexico State University.
